26th January

Teresa House Assembly (Republic Day 26th January)

Republic day is celebrated on 26th January every year across India. It is observed as a national festival. On this day, the constitution of India came into force. It is getting celebrated since 1950.

We celebrated this day in our school with great zeal and it was conducted by Mother Teresa house. The most important part of the event was flag hoisting by all teacher’s with principal ma’am. Whole school and classes were decorated beautifully which gave a patriotic vibe. We started the event with speeches in English and hindi as well. Then our students of class 6th and 7th presented a patriotic song which gave us true patriotic feel. At last we called our principal ma’am on stage for few words.

We ended this event by national anthem.

30th January

Martyrs' Day

Our school has celebrated Martyrs day on 30 January and it was conducted by Nehru house. On this day Mahatma Gandhi ji was killed by Nathuram Godse when Gandhi ji returned from assembly.  Due to death of Gandhi ji there was a feeling of sorrow in all over India. So we all celebrate this day as Martyrs day.  Our students represented English and Hindi speech in assembly and gave tribute to Gandhi ji.

Ms. Hina decorated a beautiful bulletin board in class prep on this occasion.
