NORMS & STANDARDS

ADMISSIONS

  • The Management reserves the right of admission.
  • Before a child can be considered for admission, the registration for duly filled in and signed by the parents, must be deposited with the school. If none of the parent is alive or present the lawful guardian of the child can sign the form.
  • A child who has not attained the age of 5 years is not admitted to class-I.
  • Admission to higher or lower classes is governed by this rule.
  • Pupils can be admitted until a Progress Report and a Transfer Certificate from the previous school is produced
  • Transfer Certificate must be counter signed by the Education Officer of the district concerned.
  • Municipal Birth Certificate of the child is to be submitted for admission.
  • Special attention must be paid to enter correctly the name and date of birth of the child. Subsequent changes in the date of birth or name are not permitted.
  • Record of immunisation must be duly filled in and produced at the office when required.
  • Parents who shift their residence have to officially inform the school about the same so that proper changes are made in the school records. It is mandatory that this procedure should be carried out by parents themselves in written and not through correspondence or through their children.
  • Non-submission of documents (Birth Certificate, Aadhar Card, Proof of Residence, Report card, Medical Certificate, Caste Certificate)
  • Parents must be assured that all the given details of their ward on the STUDENT PROFILE LIST signed on the day of P.T.M. is correct. The same detail will be used for the IDENTITY CARD. Report/Submit an application to the school office, If you wish to make any changes.

SCHOOL FEE

  • Parents should ensure that the name of the student and class is clearly written on the reverse of the cheques in order to avoid in Convenience. No cheque will be accepted after the due date given. If a cheque is dishonored due to any reason, fine and cheque return charges are added to the bill. In such case, subsequent cheques will not be accepted due to apprehension of “Dishonor”.
  • Fee and other charges once paid are not refundable.
  • If the fee is not paid by the end of the month in which fee is due, the name of the arrears and fine are cleared. For re-admission the formalities as laid down for admission will have to be followed after previous arrears and fine are cleared.
  • Fee defaulters will not be allowed to sit in the class and any of the examinations unless all dues of the school are paid up to date.
  • Mere submission of any fees related request does not mean it is accepted / permitted/ sanctioned by the school unless it is intimated to the applicant.
  • No fee reminders for quarterly fee will be sent. It is the duty of parents to deposit the fees as per the above payment schedule.
  • Fee bill for each quarter will be given on or before last day of the previous month of the quarter and are normally through the students.
  • Fee is payable in advance and in no case refundable. No payment of fee will be considered valid without a receipt.
  • Fee is acceptable upto 8th of every month and thereafter the fee will be accepted with a fine as per the school rule.
  • For non- payment of dues the student’s name shall be struck off from the school after 15th of the month.
  • A student has to pay the dues for the period for which he/she was on leave from the school.
  • The parents will be morally and legally responsible for the genuineness of the information/documents submitted at the time of admission or thereafter is wrong or forged, the name of the student will be struck off from the school.

Note: Fee is subject to revision at the discretion of the management.

ATTENDANCE

  • Student must be punctual and present for all subject classes & activities.
  • No entry is permitted after ten minutes from the commencement of online classes.
  • The student coming late will not be allowed to enter so as to create a sense of discipline and punctuality among the students and parents.
  • No leave of absence is granted except on an application from parents for plausible reasons only.
  • Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than six consecutive days, render the student liable to have his/her name struck off from the rolls.
  • Re-admission can be considered only on payment of fresh admission fee and fine at the discretion of the Principal.
  • Student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a medical certificate to the effect that the child is fit to rejoin the school.
  • 75% of attendance is compulsory for all students to appear in the final examination held at each term of the academic year.
  • A student who arrives late in the online classes will require bringing an explanatory note from the parent.
  • Latecomers will be permitted to attend the class only after getting permission from school authority.

NOTE:

Note: Blazer is compulsory for both boys and girls for class VI and above.

(a) Students will not be permitted to attend the regular/online classes if found in improper uniform or without their ID cards.

 Parents will be called to pick up their ward from the school.

(b) Long sleeved shirts are not allowed except during winters.

(c) Shoes must be of black leather. Boys are to wear shoes with laces. Slip-ons are not allowed.

(d) The school belt and tie are an essential part of the school uniform.

(e) Every student must carry his/her identity card to school every day.

(f) Every student must be neatly dressed and well groomed. The school uniform must be worn on all school days, school functions and PTMs

(g) Tattoos, wearing of fancy shoes, jewelry, accessories, unruly hair and fancy haircuts like mushroom cut etc., fancy beards, gelling/streaking/highlighting hair in fashionable manner are not permitted. Skirts are to be knee-length for girls.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • Parents are requested to read the contents of the school diary carefully and in the interest of the child abide by the rules & regulations laid down by the school.
  • Any urgent message may be communicated at the school reception telephonically. Phone calls from parents for any teacher or student during the school hours will not be entertained.
  • Parents are requested to switch off their mobile phone in school premises.
  • Parents are requested to remain updated with the notebooks/school diary so that they are abreast with the progress of their child.
  • Please do not send your child to school if he/she is feeling unwell. A proper application or Medical Leave must be submitted in writing by the parents.
  • Parents may please see that their child adheres to the school uniform strictly. Children accompanying their parents during PTM days & regular school days must also come in school uniform.
  • It is very important that changes in residence/office addresses and telephone numbers must be communicated in writing to the office immediately when they occur.
  • We need full cooperation of the parents to bring out the best in the child. Therefore, it is necessary in the interest of the child to respect any communication sent from the school and to attend the parent teacher meetings regularly.
  • Second Saturday of every month is scheduled for parents to visit the school during the time slot given to them to discuss their ward’s progress with the teachers.
  • The students as well as parents are reminded that the minimum passing percentage is 35 (in each subject) both in the school Terminal Examination / Periodic Assessments and the final promotional examinations.
  • Parents can visit the school on any Thursday and Saturday between 11:00AM to 02:00PM related to any kind of issue.
  • Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence from school, habitual late coming, leaving the school premises without permission, disobedience and any type of unruly and objectionable behavior are considered to be grave acts of indiscipline on the part of a student which can lead to his/her expulsion from the school.
  • Parents must check & sign details of the ward in the student’s profile list on every P.T.M.

  • Make sure your user name must be as per our school record. For ex: Hamzakhan6th (Your name and class)
  • To join the classes on Google meet, the code will be sent on your school Whatsapp group.
  • Student must adhere to the time-table provided by the school.
  • Mute your device by clicking on the microphone button.
  • Pin up the teacher’s video on your screen by just tapping on teacher’s video.
  • Student must be in proper uniform while attending the class.

  • In the absence of the teacher from the classroom. Student & parents are required to observe silence and obey the monitor of the class.
  • Parents should not interfere during the classes.
  • Contact Class Teacher for complaints/queries/feedback.
  • Students are responsible to school authorities for their conduct not only in the school but also for their general behaviour. Any report or observed objectionable conduct outside the school on the part of the students make them liable to disciplinary action. It is expected that through their good behaviour they enhance the prestige of the school.
  • Every student must possess a copy the school diary,& should bring it to the school everyday. Name of the student, Notes, Reports, Homework, Holiday Homework should be entered there in written legibly.
  • Violation of the rules and regulations and the discipline during online classes is punishable including removal or expulsion form school.

WITHDRAWAL NORMS

  • Parents have to give one month’s notice in writing for the withdrawal of their ward from the school to enable the school to complete the requisite formalities in time. All the dues towards the school should be cleared before the withdrawal.
  • A student whose academic performance is low or poor inspite of the efforts by the school, and/or whenever disciplinary profile is not satisfactory, he/she will not be admitted to the Senior Secondary School section of the school.
  • The Principal is empowered to effect the withdrawal of a student or to remove the name of the student from the rolls of the school if, in her opinion, the progress of the student or conduct is unsatisfactory or whose parents show little interest in the progress of their wards. Immorality, insubordination, contempt of authority or willful damage to property is always enough reason for immediate dismissal. Prolonged absence which is not adequately justified or explained may be considered reason enough for dismissal.
  • Violation of rules & regulations of the school and misbehaviour by the parents/guardians, are reason enough for removal or expulsion of the student from the school.
  • A student can also be asked to leave the school at the discretion anyone of the following grounds:
    • Gross indiscipline
    • Two repeated detentions in the same class
    • Non-payment of dues
    • Use of obscene and abusive language
    • Use of violence in any form
    • Possession of mobile phone or any objectionable material etc.
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) on withdrawal is issued only after all the school dues are cleared by the parents/guardians. For getting the TC, a student needs to give one month’s notice in lieu of which the student needs to pay one month’s fees as per the rules of the school. For e.g. A student applying for TC in April will have to pay Fee for April and May, treating the month as a unit.
